I had the TJ274B on loan for home trial for a couple of weeks. When I put it on, the first impression strike me was the very clean and detailed treble. Dynamic was improved also compared to my stocked Chinese 5Z3P.
I would say TJ274B is a good tube. However when it was compared against other NOS like Tungsol 5U4G and other 5U4G families and equivalents, it was evident that the sonic signature of TJ274B falls on the cool and analytical side. It sounds quite "HiFi".
